Decorate your own gingerbread house, visit with Santa, and enjoy the merriest of times to support Community Action!
The 6th Annual Gingerbread Extravaganza is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th at Fruzen Intermediate School in Beloit. Families decorate gingerbread houses to take home, take photos with Santa, and enjoy lots of merriment as we kick off the holiday season. Every year, this event sells out and we add more gingerbread houses. This year, we’re expecting more than 300 guests at the event. We hope you will be able to join us this year.
Thanks to your support, the magic of the Gingerbread Extravaganza lasts longer than a single day. Proceeds from Community Action’s signature family event benefit our poverty-fighting programs in Rock and Walworth counties. With the support of people like your in 2018, we helped 5,034 people on a pathway out of poverty. Supporting the Gingerbread Extravaganza helps to provide job training for unemployed fathers, emergency shelter for families and prescription assistance for senior citizens among many other services.
