Throughout the year, AWARE witnesses the quiet but powerful moments when relief turns into hope for families in Evansville. These moments happen often—but during the holiday season, they shine even brighter.

Thanks to local support and donations in 2024, AWARE was able to:

• Send 2,200+ Snackpacker bags home with 121 children, ensuring they had food security over the weekend.
• Provide emergency assistance to 10 households, helping 27 individuals stay safely housed and keep the lights on.
• Deliver holiday gifts to 158 children in 64 households, bringing joy and comfort to families during a difficult season.
• Equip 63 kids from 29 families with warm winter gear through Koats for Kids, making cold days a little easier.
• Help 107 students start school prepared with backpacks and supplies, easing the burden on parents.
• Connect 25 students with caring mentors through our Lunch Pals program, offering encouragement and friendship.
• Empower 18 girls in grades 5 and 6 through small group sessions focused on confidence, resilience, and leadership.
